The cannery processes turkey, chicken, beef, pork and other related food products. The workers in the cannery hand pack the cans to produce the finest product in the region. We insist on using only quality lean meats for our canned products.

Our canned goods are distributed in Ohio, primarily in the northwest. We are currently trying to market our product throughout Ohio and into surrounding states. Brinkman's products are shipped throughout the continental U.S. to repeat familiar customers as well as an ever-expanding customer base.

Our History

what we offer

1952

In 1952, Rex and Nancy Brinkman purchased
the present location, a few miles south of Findlay, Ohio,
with the intention of making a living, raising
and processing turkeys and retailing them.

1975

In 1975, the farm incorporated and the cannery operation was started.

1980

Rex Brinkman always had a keen interest in flowers,
decorating the road front every year with some beautiful
landscaping. In 1980, he expanded his interest in this
field by building a greenhouse.

1985

In 1985, a fire destroyed the turkey processing plant.
Turkey production was later stopped and the Brinkman’s
went elsewhere to find a superior product to connect with their name.

1990

In 1990, a large farm market was built on the east side of Findlay, Brinkman’s Country Corner. This market has an extensive meat department with the finest products available. The market also has locally grown vegetables, their fine canned products, a yummy bakery and deli department and a glorious greenhouse.

Today

Both Rex and Nancy have since passed, and their sons
Larry and Joe played a large role in growing the business.
The third generation continues to manage the corporation
working day-to-day in the cannery and greenhouse.

Our Work Today

Today, Brinkman's Cannery and Greenhouse, now in its 3rd generation, includes cannery, farm market, and greenhouse. If we have enjoyed any success it has come about by selling only the finest quality products possible and supporting our local community we've been with since the 1950's. We enjoy the work we face each and every day.
